Privacy policy

CubicYardage.com is a free, ad-supported set of calculators. Your calculations run entirely in your browser — the dimensions you enter and the results you get are never transmitted to or stored by us. We don't require accounts and we don't ask for or directly collect personal information such as your name or email (unless you choose to email us).

We do, however, use three third-party services that may set cookies or collect usage data: Google Analytics for traffic measurement, and Google AdSense and Adsterra for advertising. Each is described below, with the steps you can take to opt out.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate, de-identified traffic — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices they use. GA4 sets cookies and uses an approximate, IP-based location; we have IP anonymization enabled and do not use Analytics to identify individual visitors. You can opt out site-wide with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google AdSense

We display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads and, where permitted, to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use the DoubleClick / advertising cookie to serve ads based on your visits. You can manage or disable personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings (My Ad Center), opt out of many third-party ad cookies at YourAdChoices (DAA) or Your Online Choices (EU), and read Google's advertising policies for more.

Adsterra

Some advertising is served through Adsterra, a third-party ad network. Adsterra and its advertising partners may set their own cookies and collect technical data — such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view — to deliver, target and measure ads. This data is processed by Adsterra under its own policies, not ours, and we don't control the specific ads or cookies their partners set. Because Adsterra ads can come from many networks, the third-party opt-out tools linked above (YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices) and your browser's cookie controls are the most reliable ways to limit ad tracking from it.

Cookies & consent

The services above set cookies for analytics and advertising. Where required by law (for example in the EU/EEA and UK under GDPR, and in California under CCPA/CPRA), we ask for your consent before non-essential analytics and advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time. Visitors elsewhere can still use all of the per-service opt-outs and browser controls described here.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the per-service opt-outs above, and adjust your consent choice on this site.
